I was just pondering and wondered how many of you have actually seen spirit before. I know I've asked this before in my psychic questionnaire, but thought that it would be good to expand on this subject somewhat.

I remember when I first started out on this path, my guides would appear to me as colours or symbols, but I would feel their strong, loving presence along with it. As a natural progression, my guides would then appear to me, but outside of my bedroom window. I knew intuitively that they would appear in my room once they felt that I was ready for this type of interaction. It was only a matter of time before this happened. I remember one night awakening to find a gentleman standing in my room who had a chef's hat on and the blue and white checkered trousers on, he had a round face and and his whole body was lit up with a golden glow. He was so detailed and clear and I pondered all the next day as to who it might be. Soon after I told my Mother about this visitor and once I described him, she declared that my great Grandfather, whom I never met, fit this description perfectly, including the fact that he was a chef for a period of time. Once I was shown photographs of him, I easily identified him as my Great Grandfather.

He appeared to me soon after in his army outfit, holding a little boys hand - again when I shared this vision with my Mother, she informed me that he had a Son who crossed at the age of nine years old. Once again, I was unaware of this information.

Last night I was dreaming about various things, but was awoken to find an Angelic presence named "Ethonian" who works with me periodically, standing in our doorway. He is a wonderful, gentle soul who has a short, brown beard and soft features, wearing a magnificent cream cloak.. I greeted him and commented that I hadn't seen or felt him near me for a while. He smiled, returned my greeting and then proceeded to tell me not to to waste time or energy on negative thinking lest I manifest it. He reminded me that we are all creative beings and that our thoughts have great power in shaping our future. I was also made aware of my clairaudience (clear hearing) being returned to me and with greater clarity. (that's another story in itself)

I have to say that this type activity is far lesser these days, when I first started developing, I would have psychic phenomenon occurring as a regular event, but I feel that this is important in the early days to establish a firm bond with spirit, and to give you confidence in yourself and them. These days, I'm far more likely to see spirit as a subtle light, and/or sense a presence. (It takes an enormous amount of energy for spirit to manifest to you in full blown technicolour!)

I would love to hear about others experiences with the spirit world, whether it's hearing, seeing or feeling spirit.

I have to say yes i have seen spirit many many times when i see them i usually se thenm as solid form. i am used to it as i have seen spirit from a very early age.
i often have duscussions with my guide i see him also
but i know a few people see them as light form .

I am not at that stage yet but really hope in time,I will be. It must be a wonderful experience.

HI I too see spirit but usually it depends on the spirit to how they chose to communicate with me. As a child I seen them as solid people as real as any 'living person' so much so i would quite often scream out to my parents that there was a strange person in my room. They dismissed it as my imagination. When I started out to actively develop which was many years later I like you had very strong contact both visually and clairaudiently (sorry if my spelling is wrong!)It was so good . But good things dont last and now about 13 years later, I just "know", mainly. I hope that makes sense? I know what someone looks like or wants to say. But there are others who stand there waiting for me to notice them or call out for me to hear. I'm so glad to hear that someone else has experienced such a difference in their mediumship.
