Hello... I am new to this site and hope I am not covering a question that someone else has recently. As I have been reflecting on all the psychic experiences I've had in the last 15 years; seeing them interrelated and assisting in other areas of development; I am to the point where I am not sure if I have random psychic experiences or if I am developing in mediumship. Within the last 6 months I was read by John Holland. He indicated I was "lit up" and although he doesn't normally ask what people do for a living, before he read me he asked "do you do this for a living". Just prior to his reading, I had been meditating; expanding my energies out (he asked for our energy, so I gave it the only way I knew how). I was having an experience of going "in and out" of the moment... picking up names; picking up words that popped in my head only to come out in someone else's reading. I realized I was "in". It was an exciting experience and probably the closest I have come to realizing I might actually be developing mediumship without knowing how. Now, to my question... I had a brief chat with a medium/teacher and told her of this... she said I shouldn't have tapped in to the medium because it was a drain on him. IS THIS TRUE? (I was experimenting with my energies; not realizing I would actually get "in"). Has anyone else had this experience? Do mediums recognize other medium's energies and if so, can they work together? Ok.... that was more than one question. Any help in understanding this would be greatly appreciated :-D
