I had an interesting email today from someone who approached their local church healing group leader to enquire about becoming a SNU trainee healer.

The healing group leader told them that as they were a member of the church open circle that they could not become a trainee healer as learning to communicate with spirit as a clairvoyant medium and training as healing medium at the same time does not mix.

I would really like to hear your views on this, two of the trainees in my church healing group are also in the church circle and I personally do not see this as a problem. If anything I feel that as they had already been through the meditation circle and open circle before joining the church circle and becoming trainee healers healers, that it had infact helped them.

I just read you column and wow! Jez that is abit harsh, I can tell you from my experience, i am both! I am a psychic clairvoyant medium and i do trance healing mediumship. Please someone tell me the difference between a clairvoyant medium & a healing medium, dont they do the same thing in a round about way? Dont they heal the person they are dealing with, whether with passing on information from loved ones or placing hands over the auric field/soul?!?!

I am a Reiki Master & again i can tell you from my experience it has enhanced my mediumship clairvoyance. You can do both, i speak in tongues when i heal & my guides will speak very philosophically when they talk through my healing sessions. When i do a reading, i use all the three C's of mediumship.

There is no right or wrong on either of it, we are a channel or conduit for spirit in whichever way we choose to use it. SNU have some very odd ways by the sounds of things, if your friend wants to become a healer, suggest that she gets an attunement in Reiki & if she is meant to be a conduit for spirit through healing, she will find out sooner or later. You either have the gift or you dont, you cannot push something open if it is not meant to open & you can only train people who are already showing the symptoms of mediumship. We are all psychic, we are not all meant to be mediums. And there is a big difference.

I wish your friend much love and light on her journey. I had a two day workshop with an amazing medium & he put the pieces of the puzzle together. I plan on going to stanstead college in July, but if that is the way they work then i am in for a shock! lol.. As i say to all the people in my development circle, if it doesnt reside within you, then kick it out and do it your own way. There is no right or wrong in my eyes, if i go to someone who is a healer, if i feel better afterwards your a healer in my eyes, if i feel no different, then i guess you will not go back to them will you. Trial & error, you never know unless your try.
