Todays discussion comes from Yvonne on the suggestions board I am sure everyone has at least one spiritual experiences that is unforgettable. Something that made them think harder about our existance here on Earth and the reasons why........

9/11 lost spirits 2006/09/13 06:20

I live on the other side of the country from NY. I was not directly affected by 9/11, and quite frankly I think the Bush administration is feeding off of it to try and make it to another term and that sickens me.
But, on the non-political side of things, I wondered if the loss of such a large number of people all at once has had spiritual repurcussions, as in the growing awareness of spirits and the growing communication between the people left behind and the loved ones they lost? Any thoughts?

Hey Leanne,

You have created a cracking discussion topic!

I think that all of the souls who crossed on 9/11 were part of a soul group who had elected to cross on that day and in this awfull manner!
The repurcussions from this fated event were highly significant in raising the awareness and consciousness of many around the globe - and it was 'designed' to do so... It's been said many times that the world changed forever on that day - and it did..!

I'm originally from the UK, but now reside in Canada. It's been my (all be it limited) experience that in North America, mediumship isn't nearly as accepted as it is in England, it's still relatively underground. It's far harder to buy related literature out here, or openly talk about spirits and the like. Maybe 9/11 was chartered to address this situation - granted, it was a DRASTIC MEASURE!

I could be wide of the mark here and I apologise in advance if I offend anybody who may have lost a dear one on that day..... just my thoughts... I'd love to hear others,

PS: I certainly hope I did not offend anyone who was directly involved or who lost a loved one that day by asking the question about the lost spirits of 9/11. It was something that just came into my head so I brought it up without thinking it through, I hope I didn't come off as insensitive. My apologies if I did so. Leanne

Diane Rayfield
