Hello, I went to a local open circle for the first time in many years and had a strange but good experience. Just found out about the cyber world and hopped here from the SNU. Think I must have an old ID there and one at Psychic News, kept going round in circles. Very glad I've landed here.

There are many spiritualists and one or two mediums on my father's side. I had a private sitting with a medium in Hornsea in the late 70's and was invited to her development circle. Over 3 yrs of weekly meetings many came and went, we started just sat round a table. Things started to happen so we invested in a trumpet, red lighting and recording equipment. When the trupet started rocking we thought it was becoming a direct voice group. The medium started going into trance and then I did, I was 18 years old and don't remember much about it.

I left to start work but returned briefly between jobs. This time there were just 3 of us and we tried EVP. The room was always silent but after a few weeks there were sounds such as drawers and doors opening and closing when we played back the tapes. We got to the stage of a couple of words in a strange voice then the circle folded for good and the medium moved back to Camberley.

I'm interested in healing. There are several alternative therapists amongst my friends and family so I've learned a lot from them. The message tonight seemed to be that without the pressure of giving or taking messages I make a good battery for another healer.
