A question about platform mediums ? 2008/09/28 07:35  
Hi all

Since we don't all get the ability of objective mediumship which I would love to have. How do mediums on the platform/tv etc give readings with their eyes open? I know they could be hearing and clear knowing etc but I mean when they tell you how they look etc. Are they seeing them objectivly?

Hi Cathy,

I read through your question and I couldn't help but reflect on how we sometimes covet other people's gifts. We often fail to see our own true worth and brilliance. Anyway, I digress...

I guess as mediums, we all work differently: sometimes it maybe inspirational speaking, and others it can be a combination of the clairs; voyance, audience etc.
If I was to say:
"I have a Grandmother figure with me"
Would it ultimately matter if I knew this because I 'saw' it, 'heard' it, 'felt' it or a combination of all three..?

After the board ate my first reply to you *crossing fingers* this one works...

It's just I'm a visual person and like something like this spelled out lol. I realise a lot of it is due to my lack of experince and trust. What you're saying is very true.

Ok so I guess they are doing a combination. No it doesn't matter how they do it. I want to type more but then I would be really going off topic on this thread because you have really got me thinking so much about my own development and expectations.
What was my question again???

Diane Rayfield

Student Readings

Students of the Tarot Certification course often have practice sessions and have to read for their exams in the chat rooms- come along and grab a reading from our students.

Want your own reading or class room?

If you are a teacher or reader and would like your own chat room on site, come into chat and speak to Polgara who will organise a chat room for you.  You may use your room to give classes or readings on any subject that is within the area of spirituality.  Don't worry if someone is also teaching the same classes as it is always good for students to learn different methods.  You can link to the chat rooms from your own website (Polgara will give you the code).
