how can I see spirit 2007/10/02 10:05  
hiya

I see auras and occasionally hear spirit and see spirit...but I need to connect more strongly with them now..does anyone have any tips on how to do so..seeing , hearing, etc...but mainly seeing...

I get to the stage where the room almost disappears and a mist develops ...

Hi there egyptian, have you tried meditating as I found this brought me closer to spirit?... also have you tried lighting insense such as sandlewood? as this also helps bring spirit closer to you...

Can I also suggest you keep relaxing too? hope this helps, love and blessings,

hiya

thanks for these tips...the other night I was doing the dishes and I felt and heard someone run behind me into the hallway...my front door was shut and I was the only one in the house..

when I had a reiki session once I heard footsteps in the room..the healer told me no one was in the room apart from her...plus recently I heard someone whisper my name upon awaking

Hi Egyptian,
I am interested in your topic, it is something that often crops up when I am teaching. Firstly are you expecting to see spirit objectively or subjectively? There are very very few mediums that see spirit objectively, that is to say they see with their physical eyes.
Most mediums see spirit in their minds eye. Often called the mirroe of the mind. Close your eyes ( as in meditation) and ask the person to show themselves, then descibe to yourself what the person looks like. Then write it down. When you can do this and get the spirit identified then we can move onto the next stage of development. Any questions then please get in touch.

hiya

so all along I may have been doing this wrong..me expecting to see full body spirit...whereas my feelings and intution inner sight is the key to all this...that is the way I have done clairvoyant readings so accurate but I doubted whether the other person was just saying that to me..that I was spot on...I will do what you say and see what happens..

so when I see my mother in my mind, who has passed, is this spirit contact or me remembering her..

Hi Egyptian, yes, yes, the first part of your reply is correct.
But the second half is difficult. It is a very emotional subject. We can picture our close relatives from our memory, and it is almost impossible to differentiate our memories from clairvoyance. The reason being that spirit often use our own memories when doing clairvoyance. i.e. you see your mother when doing clairvoyance about some else's mother.
But there is a way of telling the difference, you will feel the essence of your Mother when she draws close. You will know the difference in your heart, and in your soul. Sometimes when you ask questions the answers will come into your mind, but they will sound like your own voice speaking, but really it is spirit speaking to you and trying to sort out the answer.
As for seeing objectify, well it can be done with many years of practice.
There is no trick to it, it just takes a lot of commitment and concentration. But really it is not at all necessary. If you can do a good job with mental mediumship then why waste your energy.

If you are referring to giving a demonstration of clairvoyance then this is the mediums conundrum, we never quite know. We have just to trust the spirit and give what we get. Never embroider or try to make sense of what your getting. The message is not for you, you are not meant to understand it. It is for the recipient to sort out. Too often mediums take the burden upon themselves, they are just the phone line or radio, they just relay the message, you don't ask the telephone to interpret thing for your do you? Then leave it to the recipient.
